Skin & coat cat food
Cat food for healthy skin and a glossy coat from Hill's and Purina Pro Plan.

About skin & coat cat food
A cat's coat is a good guide to how they are doing inside. Skin and coat cat food includes omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids and other nutrients that help support healthy skin and a soft, glossy coat, and some recipes are also gentle on sensitive tummies. Dull fur, dandruff, bald patches or a lot of scratching can be caused by fleas, allergies or other health problems, so see your vet if you notice a change. ZUKI Pet Shop stocks skin and coat cat food from Hill's Science Plan and Purina Pro Plan. Browse the range below, or see all our cat food.
Caring for your cat's skin and coat
- Keep flea treatment up to date, even for indoor cats.
- Brush regularly to spread natural oils and remove loose hair.
- Give a new food 6 to 8 weeks before judging the coat.
- Switch food gradually over 7 to 10 days.
Skin and coat cat food FAQs
Why is my cat's coat dull?
Diet, age, stress, parasites and some illnesses can all affect the coat. Older or overweight cats may also groom less. If the change is sudden, or your cat seems unwell, ask your vet.
