NexGard SPECTRA rolls flea, tick, mite and worm control into one chewable tablet, given once a month. Check your dog’s weight first: this pack is labelled for the 3.6 to 7.5 kg band.

What makes it a good pick

  • Fleas: starts killing fleas about 30 minutes after dosing, and can form part of a plan for flea allergy dermatitis.
  • Ticks: acts on ticks within about 48 hours of an infestation.
  • Mites: treats demodicosis (Demodex canis), sarcoptic mange (Sarcoptes scabiei) and ear mites (Otodectes cynotis).
  • Worms: prevents and controls adult roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, heartworm and Spirocerca lupi.
  • Simple dosing: give it with a meal or on its own, whenever suits you.

How to use it

  • Give one chewable tablet by mouth once a month to dogs weighing 3.6 to 7.5 kg, as per the label.
  • Give it every month for the best results.
  • Can be used in dogs and puppies from 8 weeks old that weigh more than 2 kg.
  • Active ingredients: afoxolaner 18.75 mg and milbemycin oxime 3.75 mg per 1 g chewable tablet. Reg. No. G4351 (Act 36/1947).
  • Always read the label and package insert before use. Ask your vet if unsure.
