Giant breeds have two growth phases: rapid early growth, then a longer stretch where muscle and bone catch up. Giant Junior is the complete dry food built for that second phase, from 8 months until 18 to 24 months.

  • For giant-breed pups expected to weigh over 45 kg as adults.
  • Daily amounts by expected adult weight at 8 months: 45 kg 593 g; 60 kg 741 g; 75 kg 877 g; 90 kg 1,005 g; 100 kg 1,087 g.
  • At 12 months: 45 kg 431 g; 60 kg 571 g; 75 kg 717 g; 90 kg 863 g; 100 kg 936 g.
  • At 18 months: dogs heading to 45 kg move to Giant Adult; others get 526 g (60 kg), 626 g (75 kg), 720 g (90 kg) or 779 g (100 kg).
  • Typical analysis: crude protein min 29%, crude fat min 14%, crude fibre max 2.3%, crude ash max 8.1%, moisture max 11%.
  • Ingredients include dehydrated poultry protein, maize, maize flour, rice, animal fats, beet pulp, fish oil, fructo-oligo-saccharides, psyllium husks and seeds and hydrolysed yeast (source of manno-oligo-saccharides).
  • Switch to Giant Adult at 18 to 24 months. Change foods over a week and keep water out.
